"Just brush my teeth before you leave me...maybe"

The story:

I was working in a grocery store that plays music constantly. I was singing the lyrics that my little brother and I had been singing since I was 5 (of course I had taught him the words). My boss had a laughing fit before he could tell me that, just maybe I had the words wrong. To this day, he still says the misheard lyric every time he sees me. Very embarrassing in front of people that don't know the story, but at least they think he's the weirdo!
