I thought for ages, having heard (but not LISTENED to) this song so many times on the radio, that it was a very graphic song about wife abuse. The, you know, 'call me Angel, speak so softly and nice, then beat the s*** out of me' sort of routine. That's why I liked it. Then I found out it was just a production line mush song. Oh well. I guess I should have read the lyrics BEFORE buying the CD.
