The story:

Well I heard the song in the beginning of December when I was 14, I taped it off the radio, and spent a painstaking ten minutes trying to write out what the lyrics were, I knew it was a bit wrong, but I thought only by a teent bit, so I was walking around singing this song, thinking it was the coolest thing ever, then I got the c.d for christmas, I fell in love with the band, but also realised that Karma Police was not a weird love song, and had my one friend tease me about it for weeks, because I thought it was this beautiful, utterly confusing love song...
I thought the bit about the socks was cool though
