Lead us not into tension, but deliver us from people.

The story:

I was saying night time prayers with my toddler. I said "Lead us not..." and my child replied, "into tension". Smiling to myself, I started the next line: "But deliver us..." and my child finished, "from people". I was laughing too hard to continue the prayer. I can't say my daughter's version was better than Jesus's original prayer, but it is definitely a prayer I have prayed many times!
