I started singing this version at about ten. I was the quiet one, always right, never naughty, always getting certificates. I volunteered to do a small song for the assembly, and sang Barbie Girl. I sang the incorrect lyrics and got ushered off stage by the principal, apologizing to the school and parents. whoopsie.
