Level crossing - when you call my name etc

The story:

I've always known instinctively (odd that) that level crossing couldn't possibly be right and was a touch random., I didn't want to know the true lyrics as it seemed to fit so well into the song and I knew the truth would be such a let down. How true!

Curiosity finally won the day when I was belting out the number on one occasion; It was time to put level crossing to rest and I asked my friends at the end what the real words were - they were not surprised at this - afterall, I was the one that used to say as a little girl during the Lords Prayer, The Power and the Lorry. It's always such a disappointment when you learn the real words, a bit like when a magic trick is explained, don't you think?!
