Luckily, I don't think anyone else found out I was singing it wrong, since any collection of people singing along to Bon Jovi are usually very drunk and preoccupied with their own performances. I have no idea why I thought Jon Bon Jovi would be comparing himself to a Prussian field marshall, and even more so when I listen to the song now and realise the word "Frankie" bears no resemblance at all to the word "Blücher," but I'm still inclined to sing it wrong if I'm not concentrating.
