Love is for the duckies and the swans

The story:

I was sitting around a lunch table with a number of other folks at an international conference. The song came on in the background. I started huming and then singing along. All of a sudden, a guy from Sweden who spoke little english burst out laughing, along with others. They explained the mistake. I said the song never made much sense to me but that so many songs don't make much sense so I though nothing of it. I stand corrected.
