The story:

I've sang these lyrics by myself several times without realizing how ridiculous they were. Then one day my friends and I were together and the song started playing on the radio, we all sang together (I should mention that I take pride in being the only one out of all my friends who can actually sing, so I was really belting it out). everyone burst out laughing when I said "tie my shoe" and I was bewildered. they had to explain to me that those lyrics were wrong ( apparently, I am also the only one out of all my friends who is a dumba**).
