My angel is a centerfold

The story:

I was only 12 years old at the time of the song charting in the UK and had heard the word 'xenophobe' occasionally on TV, but never figured out what it meant from the contexts I'd heard it in. Eventually, while idly flicking through a dictionary, I spotted the word, recalled the song, and thought, "Whoah! A song about a guy who finds out his girlfriend has an irrational fear of foreigners!". It took a day or so to work out 'centerfold' was the word to replace my aurallly hallucinated one.
