My daughter heard:
"Bring me a pie of love"
My son heard:
"Bring me papaya, Love"

The story:

The song was playing in the grocery store while we
were walking past the bakery when my 6 year old
daughter gleefully belted out, "Bring me a pie of
love!" (thinking that she had made a clever
connection between the song and our current
location). My 11 year old son, thinking he was so
much smarter than her, said, "It's not 'pie of
love'! It's 'papaya, love'." Of course, I roared
with laughter.
