My husband & I had a very heated debate over this. I INSISTED that it didn't make any sense to say 'my pots' are cold, but he made a very compelling argument that if your woman is gone, no cooking is being done. I stood pretty firm because I **sumed a man without a woman would be having 'cold thoughts'. He won't let me forget that (just this once) he was right & I was wrong.

Actually, "thoughts are cold" is the real lyric...but I always hear it as "pots are cold".
