The story:

I originally heard the lyric as: "No muscle brawn
man could take my hand from my guy." It made
perfect sense, and I was 99.99% sure it was that.
Then one day, I saw the real lyric on my old
karaoke machine, thinking it might have been
incorrect, and me and my mom had a little argument
over what was correct. Lastly, today, about 13
years later, I did a look-up of the correct lyric,
and, despite the fact that karaoke CDs often get
it wrong, it turns out the old karaoke CD was
right. I still like my version better, though.
