actually it was my mom who misunderstood the lyrics. I was 16 or 17 we were on our way to church. My mom didn't like most of the music I listened to (metal and rap). I put in this song to meet her approval. After the chorus she said "I don't know if I like this" Befuddled I asked "why not". He says "no woman apply"
