I'd never really thought about it. I sensed that I was wrong but it made me laugh. Never discussed it with anyone - maybe pointed it out when it was playing on the jukebox at a bar. But I can never understand John Fogerty's drawl/speech impediment/word-slurring anyway (e.g. There's a bathroom/baboon on the right). Your books inspired me to find out what in tarnation he was actually singing about.
