In 1972 ubnder the influence we misheard the lyrics as "one of these days i am going to get a little reefer" while listening in a 67 Impala on an 8 track tape. I was 17 at the time and did not realize the error of my ways until the late 80's when I told my wife what I thought they were singing. She thumped me on the head and said "think, the name of the soong is careful with that axe eugene."
