I hadn't even considered that I might have misheard the lyrics, since songs from the 60s-70s often have alternative lyrics that doesn't make much sence, covering the fact that they are about drugs. The drugs/FBI relation seemed plausible.
It wasn't until I heard the song being sung more clearly in a commercial a year ago that I realised I've misheard the lyrics.
I still don't know what the real lyrics are about though. ;)
