I was by myself at least, reading a guitar magazine,
& they had the sheet music to this song. I saw what
the real lyrics were & felt pretty ridiculous
because even though I was alone, there had been
enough times I'd rocked out in my room singing about
Paul Newman. I told some friends of mine about it, &
I was teased about it for years.
