The Story: You smell like goat, I'll see you in hell
Its the chorus of a fantastic Pearl Jam Song from their second
album, I was a great fan of this band in the early nineties. My
older brother listened to the band, too, but was not that kind of
fan I used to be. One evening, while listening to this album, we
were talking about music, good songs and even the lyrics. So I
told him that I don't understand the real message behind the
chorus line "salted beans". Hhe said it's not "salted beans", but
"saw the things...".
Every time from then on when I hear that song I must smile
about my strange misunderstanding.
