A couple of days ago the song was on the tv in a commercial for another oldies pop & rock collection. And as I was in a rather good mood I started singing the line.
My wife fell off the couch laughing, then looked at me - as only a wife can when her husband is totally idiotic. She asked me if I ever had speculated on why the song was called "Start me up"? And - embarrassingly - it said so on the commercial at that exact time.
Argh!
