Well, it was a friend of mine, actually. We were listening to the song on my radio, and she asked why Elton was singing about his mom's boobs. I said, "What?" She then repeated HER lyrics to me. I had no idea what the real lyrics were, but knew that Mrs. John's boobs were NOT involved. So I called my dad into the room, and he set her straight. He was as confused about it as I was. I'll never forget the look on his face--or the look on my friend's when she learned that she was wrong!
