The story:

I was sitting in the TV room in barracks in the Falkland Islands in 1992 and there was about 12 'squaddies' watching Wayne's World. Thankfully, I didn't sing it out loud, but did proclaim loudly what I'd always thought the words were. It cost me a crate of beer - No-one would accept that I'd picked it up and been singing it this way from the age of 8, so I wasn't forgiven! I was so convinced as a young teenager that I managed to convince my younger cousin. I'm not sure if she ever figured out the right lyric!
