I was working in a country western dance bar in San Francisco. The DJ played that song every night, and one night I asked the doorman what the first line of that song was. He told me, and I said, "I didn't think it could really be 'Stupid, have your boots been plundered?'" He never let me live that down, and neither did some of the customers.
