I was jamming along in the car with my aunt singing
the song and I was about 30 years old, and she
turned down the radio and said "Now what...what are
you saying"? I said the misheard lyric and she
laughed so hard she almost wet herself, The worst
part is she loves to tell the story at family
functions.
