The story:

a friend of mine was singing it at the pub open mic night... I was really disapointed, because I believed it was an environmental song about the effect the British monarchy (whose guards wear hats made from Canadian black bear skins) had on the Canadian wilderness (which I erroneously thought was the home of Green day)
