Silly me, showing off my two years of middle school Spanish by saying "But it doesn't MAKE SENSE to say 'I love you, yellow'...why would he say that??" It took a couple more years of Spanish for me to figure that one out. By then I'd gotten half my Spanish class to agree with me on the weirdness of the lyric.
