I personally think that the singer of the song can't sing for monkeys. It's a very catchy song, but his voice is really high and weird, which is why I misheard this lyric. I found out what it really was a few hours ago on a lyrics website because the song was stuck in head and I wanted to sing it so it could go away. Have a listen, it really does sound like that.
