My boyfriend and I were singing it the car, and I sang my incredibly *special* lyrics (whichI thought were the real ones!). An extreme Smashing Pumpkins fan, my boyfriend denounced me for 'blasphemy' and dumped me immediately. The funny thing is that this song was his favorite--he would listen to it for hours, over and over again. But I could never see how he liked it so much, because of what I thought the lyrics were!
