This was a song I used to listen to a lot with my dad and brother, but none of us could never figure out what Bob Marley was saying (due to his accent), so we just sang, "The day we shung shongs." I don't think we knew the real lyrics until my brother went off to college. We still laugh at ourselves to this day, and even warn others of our misheard lyrics!
