I was with coworkers and talking about the historical event of the
wreck of this ship. I said "i know who would know the real events,
the pegleg they call Gitchigumi!" Blank stares..i said "you know, the
song, the pegleg they call Gitchigumi???" In unison they said "BIG
LAKE..not Pegleg!!!" i argued, saying in the 70s i played that song in
'public' (friends around campfire - how 70s) and i know it was
pegleg. But Google doesn't lie and i found i have had it wrong for
35 years...
