The story:

I was in a bar listening to my favorite country music band play. I
was sitting with the girlfriend of the guitar player when this song
came on. We got to the chorus and she busted out laughing. This
is when I discovered I had the lyric wrong. But hey, if you listen to
the song, it actually works...
