I am a CCR/John Fogerty fan from the beginning and, while I didn't mishear this line, one of my friends did. Obviously John Fogerty is aware that this is what many folks think he was singing on the original. If you listen closely to "Bad Moon Rising" on his live "Premonition" CD, you will hear him use "Bathroom on the right" in one verse near the end. I, along with my wife and son, attended a concert from his Premonition Tour in August 1998, and he also sang it once there. He has a sense of humor about it!
