The story:

ok, not exactly misheard; a friend of mine insisted on singing this "modification" all the time, and was convinced that Bisto were missing a trick by not recording the alternative version as an advert for gravy. Strangely enough though, the friend in question was best mates with Mike Batt, the bloke who produced that song, and Melua's manager at the time I believe.
