I used to hear this song coming out of my sisters' room in '88 while I'd be playing Super Mario Brothers. I didn't know what the "ness" was referring to, by I was sure that this man's lover was rudely calling his friends "sluts". Like maybe she was trying to say how she was not a slut. I finally got the real lyrics while playing some song lyric board game with my fiance and her mom a few weeks ago. I know I'll soon forget the real lyrics, and be forced to go back to the "sluts" version, but oh well, not like I ever hear that horrible, horrible song.
