My english wasn't already that good at the time I
understood this but I knew the word "lightning" from
the englishlesson. And when I heard this song I
always wondered, why Katie Melua sings we were
twelve billion lightnings. But someday I read the
real lyrics in this little booklet which belongs to
the CD and I got that the reason why I always
wondered about the sense of this passage was that
there wasn't any sense in my version of it.
