I was singing the song to myself -- as I've done often over the last
thirty years -- and it only just occurred to me that Steely Dan
probably ISN'T singing about toe jam. So I looked up the lyrics on
that remarkable new-fangled electrical device, and was properly
chastened. But it sure SOUNDS like "toe jam" ...
