The story:

It was Thanksgiving, a house full of family members.
I was around 8 years old. After dinner, my cousin
put this record on her parent's stereo, and I belted
out the lyrics. When I sang "well you can knock me
down, sit on my face", I wondered why everybody was
staring at me with their mouths open, (except for my
older cousins, who were cracking up laughing).
