The story:

I was at the drugstore and heard the song. I thought I was alone in the aisle and was singing it to myself. The stock worker behind me was listening and stopped me on the "Why you such a lonely lover?" part, unable to contain her laughter. She said, "I know that song from way back, it's one of my favorites. I was following along and you knew every part but that one. But your version fits too with the song!"
