I was listening to the song with my dad and I asked "Wait who is Willie and why the hell is CCR talking about Goat Boys?"
My dad laughed for a minute before asking what
I repeated what I heard "Willie and the Goat Boys are Playing..."
He cut me off. and said "First it is Willie and The Poor Boys. It is referring to the band on the corner. There is NO mention of goat boys what so ever"
I tried to hear the real lyrics. I still can't though.
