Actually, I pretty much knew right away that these words probably weren't the "right" ones, but the way that RHCP sings it, you really can't be sure. I also considered "With the burdens shared, it's a lonely view," and "With the bird unshared, it's a lonely view." Things fall apart; the center cannot hold...
