The story:

My boyfriend is a huge RHCP fan, and plays their music often in the car. While we were driving one day, "Scar Tissue" came on, and I started singing along. When the song came to the above passage, I sang what I THOUGHT were the lyrics...until my boyfriend looked at me and went "WHAT did you just say?" He later looked up the lyrics just to show them to me...I was mortified.
