The story:

Saw/heard the lyrics being discussed on a TV music program recently - its regular Mondegreen status was mentioned & I was too busy laughing at the interpretations others had put on it to think about what I'd thought it was. It made some kind of sense - guy goes jogging in the dark, of course he'll be blinded when he steps into bright light. :-)
