I originally had the lyric right. Then a friend of mine in our hometown of Garden Grove, CA. convinced me that Steppenwolf was from Gargen Grove and this was homage to their roots. I'm not sure if he was confused or just pulling my leg but I managed to convince a number of people before I finally found out the truth.
