The story:

I was in the car with my friends belting out this
song when I caught my friend, Maddie, looking at me
funny. When I questioned her about this, she
yelled, "Elizabeth (that's me) gets a solo! Take it
away Elizabeth". At which point, I started to sing
my own version of the lyrics. My friends laughed
but agreed that my version was better than the
original.
