When I was younger I used to sing it saying gavote. After a while I thought it was stupid and that must not be what they are saying because gavote was not a word. I decided that they were saying go by. For years now that is what I have singing until my daughters told me that it was gavote. When I found out then I felt emabarrassed for all the times I had been singing go by. I was right all along and just didn't know it.
