No, the real lyric IS you're a vegetable, not "you're the best of all." obviously you didn't look up the real lyrics before posting on here...

@iammollyjean Yes, you're right. The real story goes like this: My girlfriend sang "You're a vegetable". I thought she misheard it, so I laughed at her for 'bout 10 minutes. Some years later I found this site and wanted to post this Misheard Lyric. But I didn't want to ridicule my girlfriend (now my wife) on the Internet ('praise in public', is a saying), so I edited the story so that I was the one that misheard it and was being laughed at. But I was wrong instead of her, I made it worse, since now she's made fun of, while she was right in the first place... The lesson learned is (as you confirm, iammollyjean, is that I should check the facts before posting! thanks
