The Story: You smell like goat, I'll see you in hell
At the time this song was popular I
had a Whippet ( a kind of dog like a
small Greyhound ). My 6 year old
nephew would come up to the dog
and sing “you’re a whippet” “and
“whippet good”. He thought the song
was about a dog.
I tried to explain, but he didn't get it.
Now, as an adult, he gets it but he
says he still sings "whippet good" if
he sees someone walking a whippet
though the owners seem annoyed.
