You're cheesing like a dead bird

The story:

I asked my mom, "How do you cheese like a dead bird?" She asked my why I wanted to know and when I explained she just told me no one knew what she was saying, but she was pretty sure that wasn't it. (Well before the internet, of course.) I did, over the years, ask numerous people what they thought she was saying. By the time I was done with them, over 20 people now believe the lyrics to be, "Cheesing like a dead bird!"
