The story:
About two minutes ago reading the real lyrics on this site, I said to my 13-year-old daughter, "Holy sh__! I always thought..." Now, I wonder how Deep Purple was (were?) out on a lake chanting mantras (in a boat, or doing the backstroke?) during a rock concert...
