It gradually occurred to me that birds don't do much evaluating and that you don't "evaluate" to figure out where your home is. I guess I thought originally that it was more or less like a homing pigeon looking for home, i.e. the bird evaluated and found its home, the singer did not. When I noticed it didn't make any sense, I checked it via Google and found out the real lyrics. I made fun of myself in the shower for days afterwards.
